QRP to the Field "Ridin' the Rails" NoGaQRP headed out to the Southeastern Railroad Museum in Duluth, GA. www.srmduluth.org
The day started out with a lot of rain, but we were indoors except for antenna installations. We set up a telegraph office for museum visitors, and Pickett, AD4S played the role of our telegraph operator. We offered certificates to visitors that sent their name in Morse Code.
The rest of us set up three antennas. Two verticals and a dipole. The operating positions, one at the telegraph office and two inside railway cabooses.
Thanks to the folks at the Southeastern Railway Museum for allowing us to participate in GRPTTF from their fine museum.
