A small, but hungry and enthusiastic crowd attended this event. It was held in Dunwoody at the Brook Run Park Pavilion. We have been here before and it is a great location for setting up all kinds of radio demos. Lots of trees, a long covered pavilion and a big open space for things like Wey's (K8EAB) funky looking antenna. A great lunch of burgers and dogs and lots of side dishes was served following lots of tall tales and some operating with "actual contacts". Reminds me of the "Sprinkles Irrigation, Inc." motto "We Actually Show Up"..! Thanks a million to Norm, WA4ZXV, for hosting this event and making it happen (again) and thanks to Mike, ND4V, for helping Norm who was recovering from a "fender bender". Thanks to Paul, W4KLY, for grabbing a box full of ham publications at a garage sale and making them all available for the attendees. The weather was a little nippy and breezy but everyone looked as if they were comfortable. If you missed this one, you missed a good one.
