ARRL Field Day, June 27, 1998

NOGA participated in the 1998 ARRL Field Day, setting up operations at Russ Richardson's, AE4NY, trailer in the woods of Banks County Georgia. The NOGA team consisted of Russ, AE4NY, Rick Black, K4RAB, Sam Billingsley, AE4GX, and Mike Boatright, KO4WX.

We operated the full 24 hour period (well, we did sleep a little) on HF and 6M. The highlight (or lowlight, depending on your perspective) of the weekend was the fun we had trying to get a dipole into the air. Ever seen grown men cry?
