NoGa Meeting

Shepherd's Center

The North Georgia QRP Club's November meeting was held again in the Shepherd's Center Hospital Board Room in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. Thanks again to Scott Sykes, KD4MSR, for providing such outstanding facilities. Wey Walker, K8EAB, moderated the meeting and did a fine job.

We had a number of first time NoGaNauts who were required to undergo the very complicated and lengthy initiation procedure. These included Chris, KJ4HYG, John, W4NWY, Jorge, KI4SGU and Mel, K4JFF. Chris is a new, 13 year old ham, who brought his SW-40 to show. He also showed off his CW sending skills.

As you can see from the pictures, we had a great variety of show and tell items.. some old and some new. The meeting was followed by lunch in the cafeteria which is really convenient.
